Loatheb is the last boss of the Plague Wing in Naxxramas, the final raid of WoW Classic Vanilla. One of the most demanding encounters, requiring all 40 players to work in perfect unison.

| Inevitable Doom | Every 30 sec deals ~3000 damage to entire raid |
| Fungal Creep Spores | Kill a spore = +50% crit buff for 2 min for the whole raid. Everyone must kill spores! |
Raid Composition & Requirements
- Minimum level: 60, full BiS from previous raids recommended
- Raid composition: 2–3 tanks, 8–9 healers, rest DPS
- Recommended Defense: 440+ for all tanks

Loatheb is a unique DPS boss: healing is only allowed for 3 seconds out of every 20. The entire raid must kill spores for the crit buff. Healers pre-cast and fire exactly in the window. On x5 DPS requirements are higher.
