Kirtonos the Herald
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruKirtonos the Herald is an optional, summoned level 60 boss that appears on the balcony at the start of Scholomance. He is a bat-demon in service of the Scourge and drops one of the dungeon's best pre-raid rewards.
How to Summon
1. Kill the Blood Steward of Kirtonos on the balcony — he (along with Jandice Barov and Doctor Theolen Krastinov) drops Blood of Innocents. 2. Use Blood of Innocents at the summon spot — Kirtonos arrives after a few seconds. 3. Be ready before summoning: it cannot be cancelled.
Tactics
- Kirtonos alternates between humanoid form and bat form. In bat form he swoops, stuns the target, and casts Wing Buffet — a cone knockback.
- Tank him facing away from the group so Wing Buffet and the knockback don't scatter the party into balcony elites.
- He applies Pierce Armor to the tank (armor reduction) — the healer keeps the tank topped.
- On x5 the fight is quick: burst him in humanoid form when he hits softest.
