Key Abilities
- Corruption — instant DoT, cast at the very start of every fight.
- Curse of Agony — primary DoT; damage escalates over its duration.
- Fear — 20-second flee; the main control tool.
- Death Coil — instant 3-second fear + self-heal; used for escaping or finishing.
- Drain Life — sustain your health under pressure.
- Siphon Soul — steal a buff from the target.
BG rotation: Corruption → Curse of Agony → Fear → Drain Life (or Shadow Bolt on Nightfall proc) → Death Coil when in danger. Your DoTs tick freely while the target flees in Fear.

Nemesis and Felheart sets provide enormous Shadow Damage. PvP off-pieces at ranks 8–10 offset the survivability gap.
BG Tactics
In Warsong Gulch Fear-lock the enemy flag room — trap two players in Fear while allies capture the flag. In Alterac Valley multi-DoT several targets simultaneously for massive damage and bonus honor. In Arathi Basin control node approaches by chaining Fear on incoming enemies.
