Pick by role
- Tanks: Greater Defense for armor; on resist fights swap to the needed school Resistance.
- Physical DPS: Subtlety for threat control or Agility for damage.

Any Enchanter applies it; materials are dust and essences. Find a master in world chat or the Auction House.

What is the best cloak enchant?
It depends on role: DPS often take Agility or Subtlety (−2% threat), tanks take Greater Defense (+70 armor), and for resist bosses Greater Resistance (+5 to all schools).
What does Subtlety on the cloak do?
It lowers generated threat by 2%, helping DPS avoid pulling off the tank. Useful for rogues, hunters and feral druids in raids.
Should I put resistance on the cloak?
Yes. Against bosses with heavy magic damage (Ragnaros — fire, Huhuran — nature, Sapphiron — frost) a school-resistance cloak is part of the resist set.
