Class Reagents in WoW Classic 1.12.1: Full List
Class reagents are consumables that a number of Vanilla 1.12.1 spells cannot be cast without: group buffs, portals, resurrections and even the rogue's Vanish. Players reach raid content quickly on WoW x5, so it helps to know which reagents your class needs and how many to keep in your bags.

◆Mage
Arcane Brilliance, the level 56 group Intellect buff, consumes Arcane Powder. Teleporting to a capital requires a Rune of Teleportation (from level 20), and a group portal requires a Rune of Portals (from level 40). Slow Fall uses a Light Feather. More on the class in the mage guide.
◆Priest
Prayer of Fortitude rank 1 (level 48) uses a Holy Candle, while rank 2 uses a Sacred Candle. Sacred Candles are also needed for Prayer of Spirit and Prayer of Shadow Protection. Levitate consumes a Light Feather. Class tactics are in the priest guide.
◆Druid
The battle resurrection Rebirth requires a seed that depends on the rank:
- Maple Seed at level 20;
- Stranglethorn Seed at level 30;
- Ashwood Seed at level 40;
- Hornbeam Seed at level 50;
- Ironwood Seed at level 60.
Gift of the Wild uses Wild Berries at level 50 and Wild Thornroot at level 60. Wild Quillthorn for a later rank only arrived with the expansion and does not exist in 1.12.1. Details are in the druid guide.
◆Paladin
Greater Blessings affect every player of one class in the raid and consume a Symbol of Kings. Divine Intervention requires a Symbol of Divinity. Paladins burn through more reagents than anyone else in a raid; see the paladin guide.
◆Shaman
Reincarnation, a self-resurrection available from level 30, consumes an Ankh. Water Walking requires Fish Oil and Water Breathing requires Shiny Fish Scales. Shamans also need the Earth, Fire, Water and Air totem items: they are not consumed, but you cannot drop totems without them. They come from class quests; see the shaman totem quests.
◆Rogue
Vanish consumes Flash Powder and Blind consumes Blinding Powder. Rogues make Blinding Powder themselves with the Poisons skill from Fadeleaf, and in 1.12 it can also be found in lockboxes obtained by pickpocketing. Pick Lock requires Thieves' Tools, which are not consumed. More in the rogue guide.
◆Warlock
The only reagent you cannot buy is the Soul Shard. It is collected with Drain Soul from mobs that yield experience or honor; see the full article on warlock soul shards. Inferno needs an Infernal Stone and Ritual of Doom needs a Demonic Figurine.
◆Hunter and warrior
Neither class has spell reagents. Hunters spend arrows or bullets and pet food, while warriors only use consumables such as potions.
How much to bring to a raid
Buy reagents from the reagent vendor in your capital before the raid: it is easier to stock up for a week than to run back for them in the middle of the evening.
- Mage: 2 to 3 stacks of powder and a few Runes of Portals for the group.
- Priest: 2 to 3 stacks of Sacred Candles for Fortitude, Spirit and Shadow Protection.
- Druid: 2 stacks of thornroot and 3 to 5 seeds for battle resurrections.
- Paladin: 100 or more Symbols of Kings, since Greater Blessings are refreshed often.
- Shaman: 2 to 3 Ankhs.
- Rogue: a supply of both powders.
The general checklist is in raid preparation.
