Shaman Totems: Call of Earth/Fire/Water/Air Quests in Vanilla
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruTotems are the heart of the shaman, and in Vanilla each of the four types is unlocked by a class quest, not bought. The chains are Call of Earth, Call of Fire, Call of Water and Call of Air. Note: in classic the shaman is Horde-only (orc, troll, tauren). On WoW x5 you hit each threshold quickly.
Four quests, four elements

Each chain has several steps: the trainer sends you through an elemental trial — find a spirit NPC, defeat an elemental, or gather reagents — then you return and learn the totem.
Exact NPCs and zones depend on race (orc/troll in Durotar, tauren in Mulgore). Visit the shaman trainer at 4, 10, 20 and 30.
Why it matters
- Windfury Totem (Call of Air) — the legendary attack-speed buff that puts a shaman in every melee raid group.
- Mana Spring / Healing Stream (Call of Water) — group sustain.
- Strength of Earth / Stoneskin (Call of Earth) — damage and defense from early levels.
