Skeleton Key: How to Open Scholomance

Unlike ordinary loot, the key is earned through a short quest chain. On WoW Classic X5 Scholomance is one of the main level 58-60 dungeons (Tier 0, reputation, farming), so your own key saves a lot of time.
What the key opens
The Skeleton Key removes the lock on Scholomance's main gate. Without it you have to enter by picking the door, which is not always possible.
Step 1: Start the chain near Caer Darrow
The chain begins in the Eastern Plaguelands, by the bridge to Caer Darrow island. Pick up the starting quest — it explains which reagents the key requires.
Step 2: Gather the reagents
Collect the required components. Some come from inside Scholomance, some from the Plaguelands world. On x5 the reagent farm goes faster.
Step 3: Craft the Skeleton Key
Finish the chain and you receive the Skeleton Key. It is Bind on Pickup and lives in your key ring — the Scholomance gate now opens on any run.
Alternative: pick the door
If you have no key, the door can be opened by:
- A rogue with high Lockpicking skill.
- An engineer with goblin explosives.
Combine the key run with the Barov Family Fortune and the Annals of Darrowshire quests — all three revolve around Scholomance and Caer Darrow.

У Каэр Дарроу в Восточных Чумных землях. По заданию нужно собрать реагенты, после чего Скелетный ключ создаётся и остаётся у вас навсегда.
Ключ один на группу или каждому?
Достаточно одного владельца ключа (или разбойника), чтобы открыть дверь для всех. Но для независимости стоит получить ключ каждому, кто часто ходит в Некрополь.
