Eastern Plaguelands (EPL) is an endgame zone for level 50–60 characters. Grim, plague-ridden lands northeast of Undercity. This is where Naxxramas is located — the final raid of Vanilla WoW.

About the Zone
EPL is one of two Plaguelands (Western Plaguelands is the neighbor). Here you'll find:
- High-level mobs 50–60 with valuable drops.
- Argent Dawn quests — mandatory for Naxxramas attunement.
- Access to Stratholme — one of the hardest Classic dungeons.
- Reputation reward vendors (Argent Dawn).
Key Locations
Argent Dawn Outpost Camp
The main hub of the zone. Most quests for levels 52–60 originate here. Trainers and reputation vendors.
Naxxramas (Entrance)
A flying necropolis fortress above the eastern part of EPL. Entry requires attunement through the Argent Dawn.
Stratholme (Live and Undead Entrances)
Two entrances to Stratholme — "Live" side (from the west) and "Undead" side (from the east). 5-man instance for levels 55–60.
Control Towers
Towers at various map points — key for Argent Dawn quests and unique items.
Ruins of Corin's Crossing
Quest ruins with rare mobs and special assignments.

Argent Dawn is one of the key endgame factions in WoW Classic.

How to Farm Reputation
1. Quests in EPL — each quest gives Argent Dawn rep. 2. Killing undead in Eastern Plaguelands — basic farming. 3. "Holy Symbol" quest — repeatable undead kill quest in EPL. 4. Stratholme — clearing gives rep for every mob killed.
Naxxramas Attunement
To enter Naxxramas you need the Argent Dawn Key. Attunement chain:
1. Reach Revered reputation with the Argent Dawn. 2. Speak with the Argent Dawn priest in the EPL camp. 3. Pay 150 gold (or 60/30/15 at higher rep levels). 4. Receive the "Argent Dawn Key" — you can now enter Naxxramas.
On WowX5 (x5 rates), reputation farms approximately 5x faster than standard.
What to Farm in EPL
Undead Stitchers (55–60)
- Drops: potions, profession resources, gray vendor items.
- Lots of undead → lots of Argent Dawn rep.
Elite Dark Knights (58–60)
- Blue and purple items with a chance.
- PvP armor pieces.
Chanz (neutral, 60)
- Quest NPC in a Control Tower.
- Exchange special "shards" for items.
Stratholme Dungeon
Stratholme is one of two 5-man level 55–60 dungeons in EPL.
- Live Stratholme: humanoids, quests to kill Baron Rivendare.
- Undead Stratholme: undead, quest for the baron's head (45-minute timed run!).
Baron Rivendare has a 1% chance to drop Deathcharger's Reins — the rarest mount in Classic.
EPL Tips
- Always grab quests from the Argent Dawn before clearing — extra experience and reputation.
- Use Consecration and Paladin Auras for fighting undead.
- Go to Stratholme with a well-coordinated group — difficult for random players.
- Farm reputation early — cheaper attunement = more gold for Naxxramas consumables.
