Gadgetzan is a walled goblin town in the middle of the scorching Tanaris desert on Kalimdor. Like Booty Bay, it is a neutral Steamwheedle Cartel hub with an auction house for both factions. From here roads open to southern Kalimdor: Un'Goro, Silithus and the legendary Caverns of Time.

Gadgetzan is one of two places in the game that teach goblin engineering — the engineering branch of explosives, rockets and combat gadgets.
