Ahn'Qiraj is two level 60 raids at the Scarab Wall in southwest Silithus: the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40) for 40 players and the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) for 20 players. First you need to reach Silithus and the Gates.

Where the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj are

The gates stand in the southwest corner of Silithus, a desert zone in southwestern Kalimdor. At the Scarab Wall are two entrance portals: into the Temple (AQ40) and into the Ruins (AQ20).

How to reach Silithus

The fastest route for both factions is the neutral Cenarion Hold flight path in central Silithus. It is open to Alliance and Horde alike.

  • On foot you enter Silithus from the north, out of Un'Goro Crater through the tunnel. This is the only land route: Silithus has no road connection to Desolace or Feralas. Full route: how to get to Silithus.
  • From Cenarion Hold head southwest along the road straight to the Scarab Wall and the Gates.

The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj open via a server-wide gong event at the Scarab Wall (the Scepter of the Shifting Sands chain). On x5, if the gates are already open, walk right in; if not, watch the server news for the event. Both raids start from the same wall but use different entrances.
