Silithus is one of two endgame zones in Vanilla WoW (along with Eastern Plaguelands). It houses the raids Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40). At level 60, this is the key location for reputation farming and completing all WoW Classic raid content.

Lore: What is Silithus
Silithus is a desert zone in southern Kalimdor, occupied by the insect-like Qiraji race. Thousands of years ago, the ancient gods sealed the Qiraji in their city behind a magical barrier — the Scarab Wall.
In Vanilla WoW, the final act — Opening the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj — is a server event requiring enormous amounts of materials. Once opened, AQ raids become accessible to the entire server.
On WowX5, AQ20/AQ40 are part of the level 60 progression.
