Teldrassil is a massive World Tree upon which the forests and settlements of Night Elves were built. It is the starting zone for Night Elves in WoW Classic — a mystical, beautiful forest in the canopy of the world's oldest tree.

About Teldrassil
Teldrassil is a young World Tree, grown by the Night Elves after Nordrassil was damaged in the Third War. It was not blessed by the Emerald Dream, which led to corruption spreading within. Despite this, Night Elves live here, guarding their new home.

Darnassus
The only major city in Teldrassil. Auction House, inn, trainers, Alliance ambassador. Ships from here sail to Rut'theran Village (connection to Kalimdor and beyond).
Gnarlpine Hold (Skittering Hollow)
Dangerous cave area at levels 9–12 with spiders and insects.
Teldrassil Canopy
Quest assignments at the top of the tree — panoramic views, final Teldrassil chain.

- Shadowmeld: enter stealth (while stationary) — unique in both PvP and PvE.
- Nature Resistance: +Nature Resistance — useful in some raids (AQ40).
- Wisp Spirit: ghost speed bonus after death.
- Quickness: dodge bonus.
Zone Tips
- Teldrassil is isolated (hard to reach without a boat). Don't leave without finishing all quests.
- Head to Darnassus quickly and buy professions there — best trainer selection.
- Nature spirit quests (5–10) give unique dialogues and unusual drops.
- After the start: Darkshore → Ashenvale → Feralas — optimal Night Elf route to 60.
