Warrior in WoW Classic
The Warrior is a versatile melee class with no magic and no mana: it builds and spends rage. On the Vanilla WoW Classic X5 realm (1.12.1, x5 rates) the Warrior is the best dungeon and raid tank and, at the same time, one of the strongest damage sources.
Talents and roles
In Vanilla the Warrior has three talent trees for different jobs.
- Arms — two-handed weapons, burst and control, the PvP base.
- Fury — dual wield and maximum raid damage.
- Protection — shield, threat generation and tank survivability.
Group role
The tank Warrior holds dungeons and raids: it gathers threat
Sunder Armor, protects the group and leads the pull
Charge. The DPS Warrior in the Fury tree delivers steady physical damage
Mortal Strike but needs good weapons and healer support.
Leveling on x5
x5 rates cut the path to level 60 by 4–5x. Level in the Fury tree for kill speed, carry a shield
Shield for tough fights and use the 1–60 leveling guide for the zone route.
FAQ
Is the Warrior hard to level on x5?
Early leveling is slower than for pet or healing classes, but x5 rates smooth it out: levels come fast, and with the Fury tree the Warrior handles multiple targets well. Keep food and bandages handy.
Which Warrior spec is best in raids?
Tanks use the Protection tree, while the main raid damage comes from Fury Warriors with two-handed or dual-wielded weapons. The Arms tree is strong in PvP.
