The Kingdom of Kul Tiras

Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ru

Kul Tiras is a proud island nation of seafarers and the greatest naval power of the Alliance. If Stormwind was famed for its knights and Lordaeron for its paladins, Kul Tiras ruled the waves, and no great war was won without its fleet.

Masters of the waves

The kingdom of Kul Tiras sat on a large island to the southwest of the continent. Like the other human kingdoms, it descended from the empire of Arathor, but it took its own path — the path of the sea. Its people built the finest ships on Azeroth, and Kul Tiran trade and war fleets reached the farthest harbors. The realm was ruled by House Proudmoore.

The Second War fleet

When the Horde pushed north, it was Kul Tiras that gave the Alliance mastery of the sea. Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore commanded the combined fleet, sinking Horde ships and landing armies. Without Kul Tiran naval might, victory in the Second War would have been impossible. In this same family grew the young sorceress Jaina Proudmoore, future heroine of the Third War.

The tragedy of Daelin

The Third War broke the old admiral. Losing all faith in peace, Daelin brought his fleet to Kalimdor and struck at the Horde before the walls of Theramore, ruled by his daughter. Jaina was caught between her father and the orc allies with whom she had lately saved the world. Daelin fell in battle, and his death became the price of a fragile truce between the peoples.

Kul Tiras in WoW Classic

In the Vanilla era the island of Kul Tiras itself is inaccessible — it lies far beyond the edge of the map, and the realm turned inward after the admiral's death. But its legacy lives on: the fortress of Theramore in Dustwallow Marsh in Kalimdor is Jaina Proudmoore's bastion, the last hearth of Kul Tiran culture and a symbol of faith in peace between the Horde and the Alliance.

On the WowX5 server (x5)

On WowX5 x5 you can reach Theramore and see the naval kingdom's legacy with your own eyes, while enjoying the lore of one of Warcraft's most tragic families. Follow the path of Jaina Proudmoore, read the Warcraft timeline and create a character to begin your own voyage across Azeroth.
