Tirisfal Glades is a dark, plague-touched forest in the northern Eastern Kingdoms, once the heart of the great human kingdom of Lordaeron. Today it belongs to the Forsaken — the undead who broke free from the Lich King's grasp and now serve the Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner. The zone covers levels 1 through 10 and is the starting experience for all Undead characters. Just beyond its borders lies the Scarlet Monastery, one of Vanilla's most memorable dungeons. The atmosphere here is uniquely bleak: overcast skies, twisted trees, and an ever-present sense of dread make Tirisfal one of the most iconic zones in the game. On the x5 server, you will move through the zone quickly while still having time to build up your professions and gear.

Quests and Quest Hubs
Deathknell is the Undead's spawn village — your character literally wakes up in a coffin here. Introductory quests involve slaying the newly risen dead, collecting supplies, and meeting the representatives of the Forsaken. The chain from Shadow Priest Sarvis sets up the Forsaken lore.
Brill is the main town in the zone. Quests here target the Scarlet Crusade, send you herb and ore gathering, and begin the chain exploring the ruins of Lordaeron. The innkeeper gives a quest directing you to visit the Undercity for the first time.
Undercity — the underground Forsaken capital. Several quests require visiting the city to report to Sylvanas and interact with trade quarter vendors. The best low-level profession trainers are found here.
Ruins of Lordaeron — a lore-heavy quest hub above the Undercity. Quests in the ruins tell the story of Lordaeron's fall and reward solid Undercity reputation.
Notable chain: The Haunted Mills — a multi-part quest around the abandoned mill in the eastern part of the zone, concluding with a ghost boss and a blue item reward.
Tips for WoW x5
With x5 rates, all of Tirisfal Glades' quests will carry you to level 10 in roughly 2–3 hours. Make the most of that window: push Mining to 50 and gather enough Peacebloom and Silverleaf to kickstart Alchemy — those herbs go straight into the first potions you can craft.
An Undead Warrior or Priest is an excellent choice for new players on x5. The Will of the Forsaken racial removes Fear, Sleep, and Charm effects — a major advantage in both PvP and certain PvE encounters. More details on the Undead race page.
Do not grind mobs for XP — on x5, quest rewards provide all the experience you need. Focus on completing chains rather than farming kills, and you will hit level 10 with leftover rested bonus still in the bank.
