Thunder Bluff is the tauren capital, spread across tall mesa rises above the peaceful plains of Mulgore. It is the spiritual center of the Horde: druids and shamans train here, and the city itself is linked by rising lifts and hanging bridges. The views from the top are stunning, but a newcomer can easily get lost among the rises.
The rises connect by lifts at the central mesa — if you get lost, drop to the center and ride up to the one you need. Mind the edges: a fall from the bluff is fatal, especially in hardcore.

Thunder Bluff is a central mesa with several rises linked by bridges and lifts:

Bank, auction house and mail
The bank, auction house and mail sit on the central mesa by the lifts. The auction house is more modest than in Orgrimmar, but a short road through the Barrens links them, so goods move easily between cities.

Class and profession trainers
Thunder Bluff is home to the Horde's spiritual classes:
- Druids — Elder Rise; along with Darnassus it is a rare place to train druids.
- Shamans — Spirit Rise.
- Hunters and warriors — Hunter Rise.
