Swamp of Sorrows is a gloomy marshland in southeastern Eastern Kingdoms for characters levels 35–45. Dark waters, dense trees, and perpetual fog create a bleak atmosphere. The zone belongs to the Horde, with Stonard as the main outpost. Key enemies include crocodiles, jaguars, mutant frogs, and powerful water elementals. Quest Hubs
Stonard (Horde) — the only major hub in the zone. Orc outpost with vendors, a blacksmith, and a flight master. Most zone quests originate here, including those that lead into Sunken Temple.
Temple of Atal'Hakkar (Sunken Temple) — a half-submerged troll temple in the center of the swamp. A dungeon for groups at levels 45–50 with important class-specific quests (Warrior, Druid, Hunter, etc.). Entrance is underwater.

- Atal'Hakkar Trolls — kill quest series clearing Atal'Hakkar trolls as part of the Sunken Temple attunement.
