Felwood is a dark, Fel-tainted forest in northwestern Kalimdor for characters levels 48–55. Once a beautiful druidic woodland, it is now saturated with the Burning Legion's corruption. Trees rot, animals mutate, and Deadwood furbolgs maintain camps throughout. The zone is important for two reasons: it is one of the richest sources of endgame herbs (Dreamfoil, Golden Sansam), and it is a key hub for Timbermaw Hold reputation — a neutral faction that unlocks passage between Felwood, Winterspring, and Moonglade.

Tips for WoW x5

Timbermaw Hold reputation is sped up by double farming: Deadwood in Felwood and Winterfall in Winterspring. On x5, Honored takes about 1–1.5 hours. Exalted takes longer, but the Timbermaw ring is worthwhile for several classes.
Toxic Horrors in northern Felwood are elite mobs with poison AOE attacks. Avoid them without solid level 52+ gear — they aggro in large packs and can easily kill a solo player.
