Why Hillsbrad is a PvP Legend
In Vanilla WoW on PvP servers, Hillsbrad was a constant battlefield. Alliance leveled in Southshore, Horde on the farms and in Tarren Mill. The two camps couldn't help but meet — creating endless 24/7 skirmishes.

Sons of Arathi Farms
Northwest of the zone. Alliance farmers levels 25–30 — ideal Horde clearing spot.
Tarren Mill vs Southshore
Historically the key conflict of the zone. Horde attacks Southshore, Alliance responds by raiding Tarren Mill. The cycle never ends.
Mountain Passes
The eastern part of the zone leads to Alterac Mountains and Hillsbrad Mines.
How to Level in Hillsbrad
Levels 25–32
1. Horde: quests near Tarren Mill (Captain Galvagar), clear northwestern farms. 2. Alliance: quests at Southshore, clear Syndicate rogues. 3. The "Blood Scent" quest — chain killing wolves and ghouls in the eastern part. 4. Field quests — harvesting wheat, killing rebel farmers (Horde dual front).
Levels 32–40
1. Clear Syndicate in the quarries (miners 33–37). 2. Quest chain with elite nagas in the mountains. 3. Prepare for Alterac (next zone) and Hillsbrad Caverns (nearby dungeon). 4. Farm the Pastures for cooking materials (great gold farming method).
PvP in Hillsbrad
