Leveling Zones 20–30 in WoW Classic (x5)
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruThe 20–30 bracket is the first where Alliance and Horde meet in contested zones, and the legendary Scarlet Monastery enters the picture. On x5 the bracket takes 4–5 hours.
From level 28 start farming the Scarlet Monastery wings — the best source of XP and blue gear up to level 45.
Alliance Zones 20–30
- Duskwood (18–30) — Darkshire and The Hushed Bank; excellent quest density.
- Wetlands (20–30) — the road from Loch Modan to Menethil.
- Ashenvale (18–30) — contested zone with the Night Elves.
Horde Zones 20–30
- Hillsbrad Foothills (20–30) — Tarren Mill, a PvP hotspot.
- Ashenvale (18–30) — Zoram'gar and Horde camps.
- Thousand Needles (25–35) — Freewind Post and the Mirage Raceway.

What are the best 20–30 zones?
For Alliance, Duskwood and Ashenvale; for Horde, Ashenvale, Hillsbrad Foothills and Thousand Needles. Scarlet Monastery (28+) gives huge XP to both factions.
Is it worth farming Scarlet Monastery?
Yes, it's the best dungeon of the bracket. Library, Armory and Cathedral give XP and blue items up to level 45. On x5 a run takes 20–30 minutes.
Can I go to Stranglethorn at 30?
Yes, Stranglethorn Vale (30–45) starts right at the bracket's edge. By 28–30 you can move there from the 20–30 zones.
