Blackfathom Deeps is a level 20-30 dungeon on the coast of Ashenvale. The entrance is right by the water, and inside lies a flooded temple of naga and the Twilight's Hammer cult. Here is the route for both factions.

Where Blackfathom Deeps is

The entrance is at Zoram Strand, on the northwestern coast of Ashenvale. It is a seaside cave — the partly flooded entrance to an ancient night elf temple now overrun by naga.

How to get there

Horde:

  1. Arrive at Zoram'gar Outpost on Zoram Strand — it has a Horde flight point.
  2. From the outpost move along the shore to the entrance cave.

Alliance:

  1. From Auberdine (Darkshore) head south into Ashenvale, then west to the sea.
  2. Come out onto Zoram Strand and find the cave by the water.

What is inside

  • Bosses: Ghamoo-ra, Lady Sarevess, Gelihast, Baron Aquanis, Twilight Lord Kelris, Aku'mai.
  • Lots of water: you will swim and dive, and some rooms are dark enough to want a light.
  • Good level 24-30 loot, a dagger quest and useful enchants; on x5 groups form fast.

Blackfathom has many underwater sections. Bring a water-breathing potion or spell so you do not drown in the flooded halls, and stick with the group — in the dark it is easy to pull extra murlocs and naga.
