Class quests are a hallmark of Vanilla. Only a specific class can take them, and they grant unique abilities, your first pet, legendary forms or signature weapons. On WoW x5 boosted XP brings you to the needed levels fast — but you still run the quests by hand, and they are what make a character feel real.

Why do class quests

  • Core class mechanics. Hunter pets, shaman totems, druid forms and warlock demons come from quests, not the trainer.
  • Signature weapons. Verigan's Fist, Whirlwind Axe, Benediction/Anathema are strong level-appropriate rewards.
  • Immersion. Class chains are the best story content in Vanilla.

In Vanilla classes are faction-locked: shaman is Horde-only (orc/tauren/troll), paladin is Alliance-only (human/dwarf). Druids are night elves and tauren.

Where to start

  1. Visit your class trainer at every round level (10, 20, 30) — the trainer often gives the quest.
  2. Check your quest log for class-flagged quests.
  3. At level 60 take on the epic chains (hunter, priest) — they need raid drops.

FAQ

What are class quests?

Quests only your class can take. They grant unique abilities (druid forms, shaman totems, warlock demon summons), a hunter's pet, or signature weapons (Verigan's Fist, Whirlwind Axe, Benediction).

Are they mandatory?

Some are: hunters can't tame without the quest, shamans get totems and druids get forms only via quests. Weapon quests and level-60 epics are optional but strong.

Does the x5 server speed them up?

x5 speeds leveling, so you reach the level thresholds (10/20/30/60) faster. The quests themselves stay classic and are done by hand.
