How to start
1. Reach level 20 as a paladin (human or dwarf). 2. Find Duthorian Rall in the Cathedral of Light, Stormwind. Dwarves usually reach him via their Ironforge class trainer. 3. Follow the chain across several Eastern Kingdoms zones.
Chain flow
The Tome of Valor has several steps: NPC talks, component gathering and a final combat step where you summon and defeat a manifestation of darkness/undeath. That fight earns the weapon.
