The noble Barov family perished and lost its fortune within the necromancy academy, and its surviving members ask you to recover the family deeds. On WoW Classic X5 Scholomance runs are faster, so the quest pairs nicely with reputation farming and Tier 0 collection.
Who gives the quest
The quest starts in the Eastern Plaguelands, from a Barov family member near the approach to Caer Darrow:
- Alliance: Weldon Barov.
- Horde: Alexi Barov.
Both factions get the same task — recover the documents proving the family's claim to its estates.
Step 1: Collect the deeds in Scholomance
The family deeds drop from named bosses inside Scholomance. You need the full set from the quest list, so clear the key academy bosses in one or two runs.
The deeds are quest items granted to every group member who has the quest. Pick it up as a full five-man so nobody has to return.
Step 2: Return to Barov and choose a reward
Bring the deeds back to Weldon/Alexi Barov. As a reward you choose between a cloak and a ring — take the piece that best fits your role (tank, DPS or healer).

Since dungeons clear faster on x5, combine this quest with other Scholomance goals: the Skeleton Key, the Annals of Darrowshire and farming Tier 0 shoulders/bracers. One run closes several tasks.
