Weapon Enchants in WoW Classic
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruA weapon enchant is one of the strongest upgrades in WoW Vanilla: the right weapon enchant adds more damage or healing than any other slot. It is applied by Enchanting. Below is which weapon enchant to pick per role on the x5 server.
Best weapon enchants
| Enchant | Effect | For whom |
|---|---|---|
| Crusader | Proc: +100 healing and temporary +strength | Melee DPS with fast weapons, healers, leveling |
| Fiery Weapon | Proc: +40 fire damage | Melee DPS, budget option |
| Lifestealing | Proc: +30 shadow damage and heal | Tanks, solo farming, survival |
| Icy Chill | Proc: frost damage + slow | PvP, kiting |
| Spell Power | +30 spell damage | Mages, warlocks, ele shaman, balance druid |
| Healing Power | +55 healing power | Priests, druids, resto shaman, paladins |
| Mighty Spirit / Intellect (2H) | +spirit or +intellect | Caster staves |
How to pick by role
- Physical DPS (warrior, rogue, feral, hunter): Crusader on a fast weapon has the best proc uptime; on a slow 2H, Lifestealing or Fiery is often better; for raw stat use Agility (+25 on 2H).
- Tanks: Lifestealing boosts survivability and threat; Strength is a threat alternative.
- Healers: Healing Power on staff/mace is standard; Crusader on a 1H is the budget choice.
- Caster DPS: Spell Power is the only real pick.
Where to get it and cost
Every enchant is applied by an Enchanter — look on the Auction House or in world chat. Crusader and Lifestealing need rare recipes (rep/drops) and cost more. Materials are dust, essences and shards from disenchanting. On x5 consumption is high, but the enchant is one-time and permanent.

FAQ
Crusader or Fiery Weapon — which is better?
For physical DPS with fast weapons and for healers, Crusader wins (procs +100 strength and healing). For caster-physical hybrids and slow weapons, Fiery (+40 fire damage) is popular. High-end melee sims it, but Crusader is the safe all-rounder.
Can I enchant a weapon with Spell Power?
Yes. Spell Power (+30) fits any weapon and is mandatory for mages, warlocks, elemental shamans and balance druids. Healers take Healing Power (+55 healing) instead.
Does the enchant fall off when I swap weapons?
No. An enchant is bound to the item and stays forever until you apply a new one on top. You can keep an enchanted weapon in your bags and reuse it freely.
