WoW Classic Pre-Raid BiS: the best gear before your first raid

What "pre-raid BiS" means
BiS (Best in Slot) is the best item for a given slot available before raiding. Pre-raid BiS comes from:
- 5-man dungeons (Stratholme, Dire Maul, Scholomance, UBRS, LBRS)
- Crafted items (Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Tailoring)
- Lower PvP rank items
- World bosses (Azuregos, Lord Kazzak) — if you are lucky
- Reputation items (Argent Dawn, Cenarion Circle)
General principle of building pre-raid BiS
Do not obsess over a perfect BiS list before your first raid. Get a "good enough" set and go to MC. Most BiS slots will be filled by raid loot from your very first runs.

1. Chest and legs — the most important slots 2. Head and shoulders — second priority 3. Weapon — critical for DPS 4. Accessories (rings, trinkets, neck) — often from dungeons
