Warchief's Blessing is a Horde-exclusive world buff. An NPC in Orgrimmar applies it when a raid dragon's head is turned in: the Horde receives both Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer and Warchief's Blessing at once — a well-known Vanilla faction advantage.

Where to get it

The buff is applied by an NPC in Orgrimmar at the Onyxia or Nefarian head turn-in.
It covers all nearby Horde players, so turn-ins are announced in world chat.
Alliance has no equivalent — part of the classic faction imbalance.

Using it on x5

It only lasts 1 hour — grab it last, close to raid time.
It drops on death, so protect it in transit.
Stack it with Rallying Cry, Songflower Serenade and Spirit of Zandalar.

Who can receive Warchief's Blessing?

Horde only. It covers [Orgrimmar](/en/wiki/orgrimmar) when a player turns in the head of [Onyxia](/en/raids/onyxia) or [Nefarian](/en/raids/nefarian). Alliance cannot get it — they only receive [Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer](/en/wiki/rallying-cry-of-the-dragonslayer).
