Fury: Hit 9% → Crit → AP → Strength. Prot: Defense 440 → survivability → threat (AP).

On x5 you farm the Devilsaur Set and Arcanite Reaper faster — close hands/legs with crafting, the rest from dungeons. Ironfoe from BRD is rare but the best Fury MH before Molten Core.

Arcanite Reaper or dual-wield before MC?
For Fury, two fast one-handers (Ironfoe + axe) usually beat a 2H in DPS, but Arcanite Reaper is easier to get and great to start. Tanks want 1H + shield for threat.
Do warriors need the Devilsaur Set?
Yes, for Fury it is the best pre-raid craft: gloves + legs give +2% hit, which matters a lot toward the 9% hit cap.
How much Defense does a pre-raid tank need?
Aim for 440 Defense (crit immunity vs bosses). Before MC a good shield, Savage Gladiator Chain and a Force of Will trinket are enough.
