How to get there
The entrance is a thorny pit in the south Barrens, near the Thousand Needles border. Horde travel south from The Crossroads. Alliance have a harder path via Thousand Needles or the Wastes, so the Kraul is usually run by Horde.

Useful quests
Key quests are the 'Willix the Importer' escort (lead the trader to the exit), 'The Crone of the Kraul' for Charlga's head and 'Blueleaf Tubers'. All are picked up in the Barrens and at the entrance. The escort gives big XP but watch the patrols.
Valuable loot
Valuable loot: Swinetusk Shank, Heart of Agamaggan, Death's Head shoulders and staves, plus boss rings. Hunters and shaman get mid-leveling weapons and armor here.
Tips for the x5 server
The Willix escort runs back through cleared corridors — start it near the end of the run once the path is clear. On x5 a level 28–30 group clears the Kraul quickly. Stay on the path: it is easy to slip into the thorns where extra adds wait.
