Scarlet Commander Mograine — Cathedral Boss
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruScarlet Commander Mograine — the Order's Paladin
Scarlet Commander Mograine is one of the two bosses of the Cathedral's final fight. A fanatical paladin, he stands at the altar with High Inquisitor Whitemane. The fight is always a duo, and the order of actions decides everything.
Tactics (the Whitemane link)
- The fight begins with Mograine alone. He hits like a warrior: Crusader Strike and **Hammer of
Justice** (a stun). The tank keeps him facing away from the group.
- When Mograine drops to zero, Whitemane runs out and resurrects him with Scarlet Resurrection,
restoring part of his HP, and casts Deep Sleep (AoE sleep) on the group.
- The classic plan: focus Mograine to trigger Whitemane; after the res switch all damage to
Whitemane (she is the fight's healer), then finish Mograine.
- Alternative: push Mograine to ~50% so Whitemane appears earlier, then control her.

Tips for WoW Classic x5
1. The Cathedral is the best gear source at 40+: the Mograine + Whitemane duo. 2. Keep interrupts on Whitemane's resurrection/heal the moment she appears. 3. Hammer of Justice stuns — don't leave the healer exposed to Mograine in the open.
