Shadowfang Keep: Dungeon Walkthrough
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruShadowfang Keep is a grim castle in Silverpine Forest, full of cursed worgen and Archmage Arugal's undead. An atmospheric dungeon with a tight route and excellent level 18–25 loot: staves, cloaks and weapons that stay relevant for a long time.

How to get there
The entrance is the castle gate in south-west Silverpine Forest, near Undercity. Horde reach it easily from Tirisfal Glades. To open the inner courtyard door you need one of the brother NPCs (Ashcrombe for Alliance or Adamant for Horde) — escort him to the door early in the run.

Useful quests
Key quests are 'Arugal Must Die' and 'The Book of Ur' (Horde), plus 'Deaths in the Family'. Arugal's head closes several lines in Silverpine and Tirisfal. Alliance can grab a quest from Ashcrombe right before the run.
Valuable loot
Valuable loot: Assassin's Blade, Meteor Shard, Odo's Ley Staff, Commander's Crest, Feline Mantle, Black Wolf Bracers and the Robe of Arugal. Mages and priests get early caster staves and robes here.
Tips for the x5 server
Don't forget to escort the brother NPC to the inner door — without him part of the castle is inaccessible. On x5 a level 20–22 group clears the keep in 45 minutes. Arugal teleports around the balcony: assign one player to track him and call the group's repositions.
