Roogug greets your group at the very start of Razorfen Kraul. This quilboar hunter deals poison area damage and spreads poison pools - not the hardest fight, but the first real stop at the dungeon entrance. Roogug is sometimes a rare spawn, so don't be surprised if he isn't there.
Tactics
- The tank grabs Roogug and pulls him out of the poison pool - don't fight in the slime.
- Ranged and healer keep distance from the poison patches on the floor.
- If your group has poison removal (druid, paladin, shaman), cleanse melee as needed.
- The boss is solo and summons no adds, so the fight is short and predictable.

1. On x5 enter RFK at level 28-29 - Roogug gives good XP as the first boss. 2. Don't drag quilboar patrols to him: the narrow tunnel turns into a grinder quickly. 3. Poison pools don't move - just reposition the fight onto clean floor.
