The WoWx5 team is announcing an update to the recommended raid schedule for server guilds. Based on player activity statistics and feedback from guild leaders, we have developed a new format that better aligns with real server population patterns.
New Format: Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday
Starting August 1, 2026, WoWx5 administration recommends guilds follow this schedule:

Why These Days?
WoWx5 online activity analysis over the past 3 months showed:
- Wednesday: peak activity after the workday, +40% above average online count
- Thursday: second most active day, stable 200–250 online players
- Sunday: natural day off, many players ready for extended sessions
Monday and Tuesday see activity dips — raids on those days suffer from incomplete rosters.
Server maintenance on WoWx5 is traditionally scheduled for early Tuesday morning. The Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday schedule accounts for this — raids will not be interrupted by maintenance windows.

New Tools for Raid Organization
Alongside the schedule update, WoWx5 is introducing additional features:
Site Raid Calendar
Guild leaders can now publish their raid schedules directly on the WoWx5 website. Players see upcoming raids in the Schedule section and can sign up through the site.
Guild Rankings
A new WoWx5 guild ranking is published weekly — factoring in boss kill counts, clear speed, and roster activity.
Raid Finder Tool
Players without a guild can use the "Looking for Raid" form — the system automatically matches them with suitable guilds based on class, spec, and availability.
Tips for Guild Leaders
1. Announce raids 48 hours in advance — members have time to prepare consumables and stock up on potions. 2. Use Discord for coordination — voice communication is critical for AQ40 progression bosses (C'Thun, Twin Emperors). 3. Keep a bench list — with x5 rates, new players can be geared up quickly. 4. Farm ZG alongside AQ — ZG resets every 3 days and fits neatly into a Thursday farm day.

Why is WoWx5 introducing a new raid schedule?
Activity analysis showed that most players are available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The new format allows guilds to plan progression raids during peak server activity hours.
Is the new schedule mandatory?
No, the schedule is a recommendation, not a requirement. Guilds are free to raid whenever they want. However, the administration will organize server-wide events and support specifically on the recommended days.
How many active guilds are currently on WoWx5?
As of July 2026, the server has 47 guilds with regular raiding activity (at least 1 raid per week). Of these, 12 guilds are progressing in AQ40, 23 in ZG/AQ20, and the rest in MC/BWL.
