Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruBlackrock Depths (BRD) is the largest WoW Classic instance, split into many zones and quest hubs. On WoW Classic X5 (1.12.1, x5 rates) BRD is a mandatory stop on the road to MC and a great source of pre-BiS gear.

Molten Core Attunement
1. Pick up quest Attunement to the Core from Lothos Riftwaker (BRD entrance). 2. Enter BRD, find the Core Fragment at the lava lake. 3. Kill Lord Incendius fire lord (The Vault). 4. Turn in the quest — gain MC access via the portal.

Ironfoe dwarven mace and Hand of Justice trinket are among the best pre-Naxx items in the game. The instance ends at Emperor Dagran Thaurissan

BRD on x5
On x5 rates characters hit 55–60 quickly. A full group clears BRD in 1–2 hours. Popular for gold farming via loot and quest item sales.
FAQ
Is a key required for BRD?
The Shadowforge Key opens most doors inside BRD. Obtain it from a quest from Franclorn Forgewright (a ghost inside the instance). Without the key, some bosses are inaccessible.
Is BRD needed for MC attunement?
Yes: Molten Core attunement — quest Attunement to the Core — requires visiting the Core Fragment in BRD and killing Lord Incendius. On x5 this takes one run.
