Nature Resistance (NR) reduces damage from nature spells and poisons. In WoW Vanilla it is critical on Princess Huhuran in Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40), where the raid takes powerful nature volleys.

Sources of NR gear

Ironvine set (Leatherworking) — breastplate, belt, gloves with high NR.
AQ20/AQ40 items — select pieces with nature resistance.
Enchants on gear and cloak — nature resistance.
Potions: the Greater Nature Protection Potion absorbs nature damage.
Magic Resistance Potion — temporarily raises resistance to all schools.

Party-wide NR sources

Nature Resistance Totem (shaman) — constant NR for the party.
Aspect of the Wild (hunter) — +nature resistance for the whole party.
Combining totem/aspect with personal gear usually lets the raid reach comfortable values without a full NR set on everyone.

Recommended cap

Same rule as other schools: ~5 points ≈ 1% average reduction, practical cap against bosses is 315. On Huhuran the raid usually aims for moderately high values via totem/aspect plus a couple of NR pieces, not a full cap on everyone. See the resistance mechanics page.
