Dire Maul Tribute Buffs
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruDire Maul tribute buffs are three world buffs a group earns during a "tribute run" through Dire Maul North. The idea is to keep King Gordok alive and kill the warden bosses: this unlocks the captive ogre advisors, each of whom grants a buff.
What the buffs grant
| Buff | Effect | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Fengus' Ferocity | +200 attack power | ogre Fengus |
| Mol'dar's Moxie | +15% stamina | ogre Mol'dar |
| Slip'kik's Savvy | +3% spell crit | ogre Slip'kik |
Physical DPS want Fengus, Mol'dar helps tanks and everyone for the health pool, and casters/healers take Slip'kik.
How the tribute run works
- Enter Dire Maul North, put on the Ogre Suit / control collar to command King Gordok.
- Kill the warden bosses (including those "guarding" the captive advisors) without touching the king himself.
- Free the captive ogres — each applies its buff to the group.
- Open the tribute chest: the more royal mobs left alive, the richer the loot.
Using them on x5
- Dire Maul resets daily — these are the most accessible "big" buffs and work even without a raid.
- They last 2 hours and drop on death.
- They stack perfectly with Rallying Cry, Songflower Serenade and Spirit of Zandalar.
- Full dungeon breakdown on the Dire Maul page; full checklist in the world buffs guide.
