What Tier 0 is
Dungeon Set 1 exists so that healing and shadow priests can quickly gear up in solid blue armor right at level 60 without entering a raid. The set focuses on intellect, spirit and stamina, so it suits the class main spec. Once collected, it unlocks the upgrade quest chain to Tier 0.5 and lets you clear the first raids confidently.

Where to farm
Tier 0 items drop from bosses in the level 55-60 dungeons. The main pool:
- Scholomance — legs and feet;
- Stratholme — head and chest;
- Blackrock Depths — wrists and waist;
- Lower Blackrock Spire — shoulders;
- Dire Maul — hands.

Set bonuses
Dungeon Set 1 has set bonuses that unlock at 3, 5 and 8 equipped pieces. For the Priest they reinforce intellect, spirit and stamina — in other words they follow the class main role. To check the full bonuses in game, hover over any set piece and read the green lines at the bottom of the tooltip.
x5 tip: on an accelerated server it pays to farm Tier 0 in bulk — form a group of 5 and run Stratholme and Scholomance back to back. In one evening you can realistically close 3-4 slots. Do not vendor spare pieces: they are needed for the Tier 0.5 upgrade quest.
Is it worth it
Yes — Tier 0 is your entry base for raiding. It is weaker than Tier 1 from Molten Core, but you obtain it without a raid and build up combat stats early. The optimal path: collect the key Tier 0 slots -> grab the best non-set items from the Priest BiS guide -> head into your first raid for Tier 1. Some Tier 0 pieces stay relevant until you get raid armor.
