Shield Enchants in WoW Classic
A shield enchant boosts a tank's survival or a shield-healer's regen. Below is what to apply on your shield by role on the x5 server. Enchants are applied by Enchanting.

Pick by role
- Tanks: Greater Stamina by default; on resist fights, Resistance of the needed school as part of the resistance set.
- Shield healers/casters: Spirit or Intellect.
◆Where to get it
Applied by any Enchanter; materials are dust and essences. Permanent until re-enchanted.

Greater Stamina (+7) is the default for HP. On resist fights swap to Fire/Frost Resistance of the needed school as part of the set.
?Is there a block shield enchant?
There is no direct block bonus via enchant in the base set; survival comes from stamina and school resistance, while block comes from gear and talents.
?Can I enchant a shield with intellect or spirit?
Yes, shield-using healer casters (priests, shamans, paladins) can take Spirit or Intellect for regen and mana pool.
