Paladin in WoW Classic
The Paladin is an Alliance hybrid class in plate armor that combines healing, protection and physical damage. On the Vanilla WoW Classic X5 realm (1.12.1, x5 rates) the Paladin is valued for auras, blessings and reliable survivability.
Talents and roles
In Vanilla the Paladin has three talent trees.
- Holy — strong group and raid healing.
- Protection — survivability and threat generation.
- Retribution — physical damage with a two-handed weapon.
Group role
The Paladin empowers allies with blessings and auras, heals, dispels magic and poison, and uses Divine Shield to save itself or break dangerous situations. In Alliance raids it is an irreplaceable source of buffs and healing.
Leveling on x5
x5 rates cut the path to level 60 by 4–5x. Level in the Retribution tree for speed, healing up between fights. The zone route is in the 1–60 leveling guide.
FAQ
Can the Horde play a Paladin on x5?
No: in Vanilla the Paladin is an Alliance-only class, and the Horde counterpart is the Shaman. Keep this in mind when choosing your faction.
How do you level a Paladin faster on x5?
Level in the Retribution tree with a two-handed weapon for damage, using heals and a shield for self-sufficiency. Demand for a healing Paladin in dungeons is high, so you can combine both.
