General Angerforge is the Dark Iron army general in the Military Wing of BRD and one of the most dangerous bosses in the dungeon because of his add phase.

Tactics

Mortal Strike — reduces healing on the target; the healer must overheal.
Whirlwind — spins on everyone in melee; melee should step out during the animation.
~20% HP phase — Angerforge summons a wave of adds (Anvilrage Reservist) and gains a buff. This is the crux of the fight.

Surviving the add phase

Bring the boss to ~25–30% with full resources and cooldowns ready.
On the add summon the tank picks up the adds; AoE/control holds them (Frost Nova, Fear, traps).
Focus burst on the boss — killing him fast beats holding the waves for long. On x5, burst wins.

Role

Angerforge guards the military quarter; he is killed on the way to The Lyceum and the Emperor's Seat.

Why is General Angerforge considered hard?

At ~20% HP he summons a wave of adds (Anvilrage Reservist) and empowers himself. If the group is not ready for the adds and does not focus the boss, the fight quickly spirals out of control.

How do I kill Angerforge without wiping?

Save cooldowns for the ~20% phase: burst the boss down and/or AoE-control the adds. The tank grabs the adds, the healer shifts priority — survive the phase first, then finish.
