Grubbis — Gnomeregan Mini-Boss

Grubbis is Gnomeregan's first boss, chieftain of the troggs that burst up from the depths and seized the gnome city. He stands just past the entrance in the Tunnel of Mechanical Arms, paired with his pet crocolisk Chomper.
Tactics
The fight is simple but needs add control:
- Chomper hits hard. Offtank it or kill it first so damage isn't split.
- Grubbis periodically summons trogg waves — AoE and CC shine here: Mage Frost Nova,
Paladin Consecration, Hunter traps.
- Face Grubbis away from the group and watch the healer for add overload.
Don't pull before the group is ready — the troggs activate on the pull. Let the healer regain mana after the run in from the entrance.

Grubbis drops no named loot — his value is the XP and opening the path deeper.

1. On x5 even filler bosses like Grubbis grant solid XP — don't skip them. 2. Bring an AoE class (Mage/Paladin) — Grubbis's troggs melt instantly. 3. Right after Grubbis it's convenient to detour to Viscous Fallout for the quest.
