Gnomeregan is the former gnome capital, overrun by troggs and irradiated. A multi-level dungeon with a unique Slime radiation mechanic. On WoW Classic X5 a group of levels 22–28 clears in 60–90 minutes.

Route
Gnomeregan is one of Classic's longest dungeons. Multiple levels downward: 1. Entrance → Tunnel of Mechanical Arms → Grubbis 2. Toxic Airfield → Viscous Fallout 3. Lower levels → Electrocutioner 6000 → Crowd Pummeler 9-60 4. Hall of Gears → Mekgineer Thermaplugg
Irradiated — radiation debuff stacks in contaminated areas. 10 stacks = death. Take breaks, remove with Purify (Paladin) or wait for decay. Most dangerous for careless groups rushing through the Slime sections.
Gnomeregan is a long dungeon — plan 60–90 minutes. On x5 rates XP is exceptional: a full clear can yield 2–3 character levels.
Quests
Gnomeregan has an extensive questline. Pick up from NPCs in Ironforge (Alliance: Dun Morogh) or through the Gnomeregan quest chain available to Horde via a goblin NPC in Booty Bay. The Radiation Neutralizer quest is required for the final clean run.

Tips for WoW Classic X5
1. On x5 rates Gnomeregan awards massive XP — 2–3 levels per full clear 2. Watch the Irradiated debuff — never run through Slime sections without pausing 3. Electrocutioner 6000: spread the group out or Chain Lightning will cut down casters 4. Electrocutioner Leg is the best Pre-BiS staff for Mages until level 40+
