Theka the Martyr
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruTheka the Martyr is a troll fanatic on a raised altar surrounded by zealots. The fight is simple, but two quirks — a disease and an immunity phase — throw off an inexperienced group's rhythm.
Tactics
- Zealots first. Theka is guarded by troll zealots. Crowd-control them (Sap, Polymorph, Fear)
or gather them on the tank and cut them down before committing to the boss.
- Fevered Plague. A disease DoT on random targets. Cleanse it (priest Abolish Disease, Cure
Disease) or out-heal it.
- Immunity phase. Theka periodically transforms and becomes immune for a few seconds, wrapped
in a scarab swarm. Do not waste cooldowns or mana during it — just wait and resume DPS when he is vulnerable again.
- Steady pace. He has no heavy AoE — keep steady tank healing and finish him between immunity
phases.

Why does Theka sometimes take no damage?
He periodically transforms and becomes immune (wrapped in a swarm of scarabs). It is temporary — just wait the phase out without burning cooldowns and resume attacking when he is vulnerable again.
How do you deal with Fevered Plague?
It is a disease DoT. Cleanse it with a priest (Abolish Disease), paladin or shaman; if you cannot dispel it, simply out-heal it. It is dangerous stacked with group damage.
