What Necrosis gives a warlock

The warlock is a micromanagement class: shards, stones, demons, DoTs. Necrosis removes the busywork:

  • Soul-shard counter — always see how many remain
  • Fast stone creation — Healthstone, Soulstone, Firestone in one click
  • Demon summoning — Imp, Felhunter, Voidwalker, Succubus from the ring
  • Curse and DoT timers — track effect duration on the target
  • Auto messages — announce Healthstone handouts and portals to the group

Installing Necrosis

1Download Necrosis for 1.12.1, extract into Interface/AddOns/
2Enable the addon in the select menu
3Log in on a warlock — the ring panel appears
4Configure buttons by right-clicking the central circle

Necrosis only works on the warlock. On other classes the panel will not appear — that is normal, the addon is class-specific.

Managing shards and stones

The centre of the panel shows your current soul-shard count. Around it are action buttons: create a stone, summon a demon, open a portal. This saves shards and clicks in combat.

  • Keep a stock of Soulstones to resurrect the group after a wipe
  • Hand out Healthstones to the raid before a pull — Necrosis announces it
  • Refresh Curse of Doom and Corruption by the addon timers for max damage

Necrosis on an x5 realm

On x5 rates the warlock gains levels and spells quickly. Necrosis makes the micromanagement painless from the first levels. Pair it with our warlock levelling and talent builds.
