KLHThreatMeter (KLH) is the classic threat monitoring addon for WoW Classic Vanilla 1.12.1. It synchronizes data between raid members via addon messages, displaying real-time threat standings for the entire raid.

Why You Need KLHThreatMeter

WoW Classic has no built-in threat display. Without an addon:

  • DPS players don't know when to throttle before pulling aggro
  • Tanks can't see who is close to their threat value
  • Healers don't know when their heals risk pulling aggro

KLH solves this by providing a real-time threat table for the whole raid.

Commands

  • /klh — open/close the threat window
  • /klh reset — reset threat data (use between bosses)
  • /klh sync — manual raid synchronization
  • /klh solo — solo mode without synchronization
  • /klh lock — lock the window position

Reading the Threat Table

KLH shows a list of players sorted by current threat on the target. Colors:

RedThis player has aggro
YellowThreat > 80% of tank — danger zone
GreenThreat < 80% — safe
GreyOut of combat / dead

DPS rule on WowX5: if you see yellow on your name — slow down. Pausing your rotation for 3–5 seconds is better than dying and wasting healer mana.

Raid Synchronization

KLH collects data through addon messages. If a player without KLH takes top threat, the addon won't know about it. Therefore:

  • Ask all raiders to install the same version of KLH
  • Type /klh reset when switching bosses
  • Use /klh sync if synchronization breaks
