How to Report a Player and Reach a GM
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruFair play is a shared responsibility. If you meet a cheater, a farming bot, a spammer or open harassment, a well-formed report helps staff act fast. Here is how to do it.
What counts as a violation
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Cheats and exploits | Speedhack, teleport, abusing location bugs |
| Bots | Auto-farming resources and mobs in loops, auto-party |
| Toxicity | Insults, threats, inciting hostility |
| Spam and ads | Advertising other servers, channel flooding |
| Scams | Trade fraud, gold/item 'scams' |
The exact list is in the server rules. Disputed cases are judged by staff.
How to file a report
1. Capture evidence — a chat/action screenshot, or better a short video. Without proof a report is hard to process. 2. Record exact data: the offender's name, approximate time, location and the nature of the breach. 3. Do not take justice into your own hands in chat — that can break the rules on your side too.
Where to go
The main channel to reach game masters (GMs) is the project's official Discord and the contacts on the site. Describe the situation briefly and factually, attach screenshots. The more specific the report, the faster the reply.
Tip: don't write reports 'in the heat of the moment' and don't repeat the same thing ten times — it slows the review, not speeds it.
What not to do
- Don't accuse without proof — false reports are a violation too.
- Don't ask a 'suspect' for passwords/data — only staff handle that.
- Don't trust anyone posing as a GM in whispers and making demands (see Account Security).

FAQ
How do I report a cheater or bot on WoW x5?
Capture evidence (a screenshot or video), note the offender's name, time and location, and send a report via the project's official Discord or the site contacts. The more specific the proof, the faster the review.
What should I attach to a player report?
A screenshot or short video of the violation, the offender's exact name, approximate time, location and a brief description. Without proof a report is hard to process.
Can a game master whisper me and ask for my data?
No. Real staff never ask for a password or personal data in in-game whispers. Any such message is a scam attempt; see the account security guide for protection.
