Gatherer: gathering node map for WoW Classic x5
Vanilla WoW Classic 1.12 · x5 realm · wowx5.ruGatherer is the gatherer's addon for WoW Classic. It automatically remembers the coordinates of every herb, ore vein and treasure you collect and draws them on the map. Over time you build a personal atlas of gathering nodes for fast farming.
Why you need Gatherer
Herbalism, mining and gold-making all live and die by routes. Gatherer turns scattered finds into a system:
- Map markers — every gathered herb and vein is marked with an icon
- Route optimisation — clusters of nodes make farm circles obvious
- Minimap — nearby nodes light up in real time
- Statistics — how much of each resource you gathered, richest zones
Installing Gatherer
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Download Gatherer for 1.12.1, extract into Interface/AddOns/ |
| 2 | Enable the addon in the select menu |
| 3 | (Optional) import a Vanilla coordinate database |
| 4 | Gather resources — the map fills automatically |
A fresh Gatherer starts with an empty map. Either fill it while farming or import a ready node database to see spawn spots immediately.
Building a farm route
Open the zone map — icon clusters show where a resource spawns most often. Connect the dense areas into a loop and repeat it: by the time you finish the circle, nodes have respawned.
- For herbs target the specific herbs of your level
- For ore pick zones with veins matching your mining skill
- Combine with our routes: herb farming and ore farming

FAQ
How does Gatherer remember nodes?
Every time you gather a herb, ore vein or treasure, the addon saves the coordinates. Over time a dense network of nodes fills the map across every zone.
Can I import a ready-made node database?
Yes. Vanilla coordinate databases exist and import into Gatherer via the SavedVariables file, filling the map instantly without farming it yourself.
Does Gatherer show nodes on the minimap?
Yes. Herb and ore icons appear on both the world map and the minimap, which is handy while running a farm route.
Does Gatherer help with fishing and treasures?
Gatherer remembers opened chests and fishing spots in addition to herbs and ore, if the matching tracking modules are enabled.
