Holy Paladin — Build, Talents and Healing
Holy Paladin is one of the most dependable healers in WoW Classic. It has no group heals, but delivers the strongest single-target healing, keeps the party alive with Blessings and owns unique panic buttons — Lay on Hands and Blessing of Protection. On WowX5 x5 the holy paladin quickly joins MC and BWL raids as a dedicated tank healer.
The key to endless mana is the Illumination talent: a critical heal refunds mana. Keep your crit high and pop Divine Favor before a big Holy Light to guarantee a crit and reclaim half your mana.

What this build is for
Holy is the pure healing spec of the paladin:
- Raids — best single-target tank healer across MC, BWL and AQ.
- Dungeons — safe support with resurrection and magic/poison/disease dispels.
- PvP — a survivable healer: Blessing of Protection, bubble and fast heals.
The paladin does not replace a priest on group healing, but has no equal on keeping one target alive.

The core is Illumination + Healing Light for cheap, powerful Holy Light. Leftover points buy survivability in Protection.
Rotation and play
Your bread and butter is Holy Light at the right rank: full rank under heavy damage, a lower rank to save mana on light damage. Flash of Light tops targets off in a hurry. Keep Blessing of Wisdom and Devotion Aura on the group.

Stats and gear
Holy paladin priority: healing power → intellect → mana per 5 (mp5) → crit. Mana efficiency beats raw throughput: more crit means Illumination procs more often.
