Gnome in WoW Classic
Gnome is an inventive Alliance race, ideal for magic classes and engineers. On the WoW Classic X5 realm (1.12.1, x5 rates) gnomes are popular with players who value intellect, PvP mobility and technology.
Racial abilities
- Escape Artist — active ability: removes root and snare effects.
- Expansive Mind — +5% Intellect.
- Arcane Resistance — +10 arcane resistance.
- Engineering Specialization — +15 engineering skill.

Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Warlock. Gnomes cannot play Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Druid or Shaman.
Starting zone
Gnomes start in Dun Morogh alongside the dwarves; the capital is Ironforge. Their home city of Gnomeregan is overrun and reclaiming it is part of the story.
