Fury Warrior — build, talents and DPS rotation
The fury warrior is the main physical DPS of vanilla raids. Dual wield, the deep Fury tree and the Whirlwind + Heroic Strike combo give the best sustained damage in the game with good gear. For PvP and an easy start warriors take arms, but squeezing out the most on bosses is what fury does.
The core of fury damage is the Heroic Strike queue. Keep it queued almost always to dump excess rage into damage, but don't starve rage for Whirlwind and Execute — the balance comes with practice.

What this build is for
Fury is the warrior's top raid DPS spec:
- Raids — the best physical single-target damage with high gear.
- Scaling — grows from strength, crit and hit more than any class.
- Dungeons — fast clears if someone holds threat.
Weak points are gear and hit dependence: a naked fury warrior struggles at the start, but a geared one has no equal.

Flurry raises attack speed after a crit — the foundation of fury damage; Death Wish and Berserker Rage give burst.
Rotation and play
Spin Whirlwind on cooldown, keep Heroic Strike queued, and below 20% target HP switch on Execute. On burst phases use Death Wish and Recklessness.
Manage the rotation so you don't starve rage: Bloodrage and hits on the target sustain the resource. The full priority is in the warrior rotation, button templates in warrior macros.
Stats and gear
Priority: hit (to the cap) → strength → crit → weapon skill/speed. Hit is critical: misses on the boss cut DPS the most.

For pure boss damage take fury: dual wield and Flurry give more DPS. Arms with Mortal Strike is stronger in PvP and at the start with a single two-hander.
